Cable recycling

Old cables are stored separately after sorting. Cables containing copper are sent to a multi-stage cutting mill that processes the material into copper and synthetic granulates.

The processing across a wet-splitting table of the dust fraction that arises during this produces residual copper and synthetic granulates.

Copper granulates contain primary copper pig for refining or rolling mills for reprocessing.

Synthetic granulate finds reuse as a raw material for manufacturing warning beacons, lattice blocks for lawns, flower buckets and art-related products.
